The level in octave bands is computed.
The computation can be done either in time domain or frequency domain dependent on the setting shown below
If IEC is selected, the octave filtering will be done in time domain and according to the IEC 1260 standard.
If Fast is selected, the octave band values are found first computing a FFT and then summing all the bins within the octave bands using equal weighting. This method is typically faster, but the results are not exactly the same as the IEC 1260 standard.
