If Sine is selected as signal type, the frequency setting is displayed as shown below
To set the frequency in large steps, drag the slider using the mouse.
If the 
button is turned off (which we recommend), the last half of the
slider scale is logarithmic. This is the normal way of representing such a
slider. But if you need to fine-tune the high frequencies very accurately, you
should try turning the button on. For more information about fine-tuning see the next
section.
