The limit curves are based on a text file, the settings below determine how the limit curves are generated.
If is checked, the limit curves are not absolute but instead generated based on a reference measurement.
Note: Only 3-column limit files can be used as tolerance, if you make a 2-column limit curve file, this tolerance setting is ignored.
To set a new such reference measurement, click the button.
The y-axis specified in the text file does not have to correspond to the y-axis of the data that is to be checked. Therefore the limit curve must be interpolated to have the same y-axis. This can be done by the two methods shown below.
We recommend using the Straight line (fast) interpolation since it is much faster.
