LF –Lateral fraction

where h_L(t) is the impulse response measured with a figure-of-eight microphone with one of its nulls pointed towards the source. The time limits are t_d, the direct time, and t_e, the early time. LF is normally used for music application, with direct time 5 ms and early time 80 ms. The limit 5 ms is introduced to make sure the direct sound is totally suppressed. The time limits can be changed if the parameter is calculated from Room Acoustics->User Defined.
