If you are using sampling frequency 96 kHz or higher, you may get an error message saying that “there was an error opening the Wave IN device”. In this case, you have to close and restart WinMLS. We are trying to solve this problem.

You must choose the input and output device with MME at the end.

In Measurement->System Delay... you should use ‘Yes, my sound card is synched’ and the delay should be set to 0 samples.

We then measured the sound card delay is 142 samples when using 48 kHz.
