What does the Windows sound card mixer do when WinMLS is set to control it?

The WinMLS mixer fully controls and overrides the Windows sound card mixer during the measurement. This means that when WinMLS is set to control the Windows mixer, there is no point in adjusting levels in the Windows sound card mixer.
